Summertime in Infrared

I have been searching for a useful combination for capturing infrared pictures on my G2. Well, I know the best way to do this is with a converted camera, but therefore I have to modify the chassis I am currently using. Anyway, you might know that I like old FD lenses and I recently gathered a Canon FD 24mm/2.8 on eBay. Of course, I have already made some tests with a Hoya R72 infrared filter. And this seems to be very promising!! Not hot spots and a lot of details. Here you can see some dandelions in the lunchtime light:
